Charlie Gao Appointed Mastip Group General Manager

The Mastip Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Charlie Gao as the new Group General Manager.
Charlie brings over 15 years of senior management and international business experience in both the private and public sectors.
Steven Hales, Chairperson of the Mastip Board, expressed the Board’s excitement at bringing someone of Charlie’s calibre to lead the Mastip Group. He noted that the Board was particularly impressed with Charlie’s extensive international business experience, strategic vision, and track-record of managing high performing teams to support clients and partners globally.

Prior to joining Mastip, Charlie led a government funded agency that facilitated the growth of New Zealand businesses exporting to Asian markets, and was the Managing Partner of an international investment management and advisory firm based in Asia. Charlie holds BSc, BA(Hons), and MA(Hons) degrees from the University of Auckland. He is a proud dad to two boys.
